About the role

A leading UK etextbook provider is looking for a Publisher Services Executive to help drive sales and content acquisition with their publisher clients. You will work with and offer sales support to the sales team as well as identifying sales opportunities for direct publisher sales. This is a full-time role based in Bournemouth.

Key duties:

  • Visiting and presenting to publishers to secure contract commitment and service adoptions
  • Growing sales and building commercial relationships with key academic publishers
  • Providing sales support to the sales team, including product training and presentations
  • Attending book fairs and events to promote the service
  • Business development with new publishers
  • Assisting the Publishing Services Manager with supply terms and pricing
  • Updating the CRM with all product team activity.

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience in sales, marketing or product development from Higher Education (K12) sector
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and content platforms
  • Knowledge of teaching and learning platforms
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Commercially minded with excellent negotiation skills
  • A confident presenter, who is comfortable demonstrating online and app software to clients
