In collaboration with Exetreme Imagination, Exeter Literature Festival for and by Young People, Riptide is facilitating a competition for adult writers. We want unpublished stories and poems that use themes relating to ‘childhood’ that surprise, amuse and challenge us.

First prize £50 and publication

Runners up in the competition will also be published in Riptide 13 – the anthology will also include writing by young people alongside stories and poems by established writers.

Entry Guidelines:

Stories – Enter One story up to 5000 words

Poems – Send up to Five poems per entry (Up to 40 lines per poem)

Deadline: July 31st 2018
