Anthea grew up in Cornwall and Devon. Vicar’s daughter and eldest of six. St Hugh’s Oxford University for English then into the City, ending up in very senior roles in asset management. Retired following death of husband to bring up son, Henry, and to write. Three children’s picture books published by Andersen Press and a poetry collection ( rufus books). Shortlisted twice for the Bridport Poetry prize and published work in Acumen etc. Written three original plays and adapted Shakespeare for prep school children. Blog on diversity and inclusion. Co-founder of Board Apprentice, a social enterprise working to improve diversity on boards.
I now run Moorbath Creative, a residential art and creative writing enterprise in West Dorset and am working on two novels for young adults. I teach creative writing.
