Autumn Poetry Workshops: ‘Exploring the Form’Event Website
These will be lively sessions taking a naive but thoughtful look at different poetry forms and considering how these work in a contemporary context. There will be a balance between reading existing poems and creating new writing.
These follow on from the ‘Writing Dangerously’ workshops in the spring, which played with the paradox that a writer has to feel safe in order to take risks.
These workshops will take place on six Saturday mornings (roughly alternate weeks) from 10.30 – 12.15 a.m. at Carnon Downs Village Hall.
Dates: 14 October, 21 October, 4 November, 11 November, 2 December, 16 December.
Cost: £36 (£30 concessions) for the complete cycle of six sessions.
Advance booking is required as this is not a drop-in class. Numbers are limited, so it’s first come first served.
