This unique workshop from one of the UK’s most revered writers, will give you all the tools you need to get your book off to a flying start. You will explore inspiration, how to introduce memorable characters, themes and finding an original setting. The workshop will include some writing exercises and is open to all writing abilities.
Natasha Carthew is a well-known Country Writer from Cornwall. She has written two books of poetry (STANDING STONE and FLASH RECKLESS) and three Young Adult books. Her first book for Young Adults WINTER DAMAGE (Bloomsbury Publishing) was nominated for the 2014 Carnegie Medal and shortlisted for several national awards including the prestigious Branford Boase Award. Her second book THE LIGHT THAT GETS LOST was published by Bloomsbury in 2015. Her first work of Adult Fiction ALL RIVERS RUN FREE will be published by Quercus/Riverrun/Hachette in 2018. ONLY THE OCEAN, her third book for Young Adults, is due to be published with Bloomsbury Novenber 2018.
