Need a bit of focus and accountability in your writing or a nudge to get some words on the page? Want to set up a regular writing habit? Would you like to get some feedback on your work in progress from a group of fellow writers who will support you and help you to develop your craft? Then Get Your Words Out is just what you need.

Get Your Words Out! is run by JLM Morton – poet, founder of Dialect and an adult educator with more than 25 years experience of working with grown-ups all over the world in literature, professional development and education. AKA ‘safe pair of hands’.
The group will meet monthly online, do some writing prompts to generate new work and share work in progress for group critique.

You will also have access to a private online forum where you can chat, share ideas, articles, info, writing and more in between meetings. Participants in this group will be invited to submit a piece of work for consideration in the new annual Dialect anthology of prose, poetry and ephemera.

Dialect critique groups are welcoming, warm and constructive, a place where you can grow and nurture your work in a safe and positive place.

Meetings take place via Zoom on the second Wednesday evening of the month, 7pm – 9m. Bookable block available:
· Wednesday 8th September
· Wednesday 13th October
· Wednesday 10th November

This group will run with a minimum of 10 participants.

Bursaries are available for those that need them, on application.
