You don’t need to be a writer to benefit from keeping a writing journal. Personal writing brings moments of peace and solitude, away from the demands of everyday life, and has been shown to boost both physical health and emotional wellbeing.
If you are a writer, personal writing is also an opportunity to experiment and play with new ideas, and find your authentic writing voice.
This short course is designed to help you get started, if you haven’t kept a writing journal before, or to think about how you might develop your practice if you have.
You will need a few different coloured writing pens and a lovely new notebook. There will be homework!
