Relaxing, playful and spacious – this four day course will help you write for your own pleasure and wellbeing.
Structured exercises designed to engage the senses will cover a range of techniques including free-writing, fiction, poetry and journalling. A creative summer break that will give you chance to unwind, enjoy yourself and find words. A chance for some Literary ‘TLC’. This workshop will be run by Sue Mayfield, an author of nine novels for Young Adults, including Blue, Voices and Hill of the Angels, as well of a number of non-fiction titles and books for younger children. A qualified teacher, BACP accredited therapist and experienced facilitator she runs writing workshops in schools, hospitals and GP practices. Sue regularly leads courses at Maggie’s Centre, in Cheltenham where she lives and has a private counselling/writing-therapy practice finding words.
