Work in Progress
HOURS Space, Bristol
Thursdays Jan 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, Feb 6th and 13th
This series of six weekly sessions is designed to help you develop a piece of creative prose writing – flash fiction, short stories and novels all welcome.
With regular meetings, small workshop groups and (super strict!) deadlines, we’ll help you keep your writing on track. You’ll offer feedback on other people’s work and receive focused critique each week. You’ll be expected to produce up to 1000 words for each session and to read other people’s work between meetings.
We’ll also provide clear guidance on how to critique other people’s work and suggest approaches to editing your own. Come and reap the rewards of doing the work!
NB Although this is a face-to-face course, you will need to type your work and to have access to email. You will also need either a laptop or the ability to print out work for each session.
Booking essential. 16 places only.
