We are pleased to launch the first ever Quay Words podcast.

Over the past few months, we’ve been finding new ways to explore a love of words and stories in digital formats. Quay Words is a programme which takes place at the historic Exeter Custom House. During this time, we can’t be in the building but we can certainly find ways to share the stories of Exeter Custom House and the city of Exeter.

One of the ways we’ve decided to do this is by hitting your podcasting apps with the Quay Words podcast. A monthly offering, these podcasts will feature the writers we work with, the people we meet and the stories they have to share.

Today, we’d like to share the first ever episode of Quay Words the podcast featuring a reading by Quay Words’ first ever writer-in-residence, Louisa Adjoa Parker. She reads her Quay Words commissioned narrative poem ‘Let the river sing’.

This episode is available on Apple podcasts and the Google Playstore and here, on the website via SoundCloud.
