Story Fridays are looking for short stories or monologues, fact or fiction (but mainly fiction) or flash pieces, maximum 2,000 words.  on the subject of Chemistry.

Does that make you think of bunsen burners, or eyes meeting across a crowded room? Whatever you choose, chemistry is all about reactions, explosive or otherwise. Where will the theme take you?

The most important thing is that the story works well out loud. Poetry not accepted.

The event will be held on Friday 8th November at Burdall’s Yard in Bath.

**Please check that you are available to come along on the 8th November before you submit.** We like the writers to be in the audience for these events.

There are professional actors available who are very happy to read your story if performance gives you the jitters. Olly Langdon of Kilter Theatre (who is also the brilliant host) will read a male voice, and there are a number of female actors who can read stories which need a female voice.  Please indicate in your email if you would like someone to read your story.

Story Fridays is currently an unpaid opportunity.
