The University of Exeter are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to support the ‘Places of Poetry’ project; a community arts project co-funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund. The Project centres on a digital map of England and Wales, onto which members of the public will be encouraged to pin original poems about place, heritage and identity in the summer of 2019. The Project will involve a series of events and activities in association with partner organisations, through the months of June to August.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and experience supporting or managing creative events. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required in order to maintain effective relationships with external partners. A proactive and creative approach to problem solving is also required, combined with strong administrative skills and experience using Microsoft software packages (Word, and PowerPoint).
This new full-time post is available from 11th February 2019 on a fixed-term basis until 14th September 2019.
