With increased screen time as we work from home, it's no wonder that downloads of podcasts and audio books have risen as we find ways to rest.

We’ve been exploring the BBC Sounds apps for some literary treasures. There are some great podcasts centred around some of our favourite book-to-screen adaptations such as Killing Eve. Check out Obsessed with Killing Eve, or Killing Eve the Soundtracks ahead of series three, which streams on the iPlayer from 13th April.

We’ve also been checking out the collection of audio books. There are some great titles on there – Pride and Prejudice (which makes our Literature Development Officer very happy) and the recent best-selling final instalment of the Thomas Cromwell trilogy, The Mirror and the Light.

Discovering an audio book or bookish podcast is a great way to get a break from screen time and get some rest post working day or at the weekend.
