Join the Story Adventurers in a tale about building houses, and watch out for a very naughty wolf! Are you ready? (P.S. Parents try and keep it a secret)
Taking a well-known children’s story, workshop leader and performer Jo Lumber, will guide and inspire children to create their own stories through a mixture of writing, drama and making.
Tuesday 7th August, 10am-12pm
Suitable for children aged 5-8.

Parents can accompany if they wish but do not need to purchase a ticket for themselves.

Turn your tales into books.
A fabulous family workshop where you will create a short piece of writing, and then make a simple handmade book.
Suitable for children aged 8 and upwards, older children, adults and the whole family. Parents do not have to stay with their children, but it is a great family activity.

Explore and play with shadow and light.
Head to CAST in Helston to explore and play with shadow and light, make art and animation, and see great children’s world cinema throughout the summer holidays! Lightbox is a festival of free activities and entertainment for families, hosted in a specially constructed light box projection space.
Special events by The Story Republic will take place on Wednesday 15 and Wednesday 22 August, including storytelling and song for pre-school-age Little Story Seekers from 10am – 11am, and interactive sessions based on well-known fairy stories for 5 to 8 year-old Story Adventurers from 11.30am – 1.30pm.
