About the Author

Caroline Carver is currently poet in residence with the Marine Institute, Plymouth University. She’s won many prizes, including the National in 1998, the Italian Silver Wyvern in 2008, and the Guernsey “On the Buses” in 2010. She was Commended in the 2010 National. Her work’s been translated into French, Italian and Romanian. Caroline is a Hawthornden Fellow who now lives by the sea near Falmouth, Cornwall. Previously she lived in Canada where she worked in radio, television, publishing and p.r. and was an on-air ‘radio personality’ for many years.
