I am primarily a poet, with a fascination for the act of speaking, especially between species and across ages. I am currently studying for a PhD in Creative Writing at the University of Exeter, focusing my poetry around the female bog bodies – the remains of people buried in and preserved by the anoxic environment of bogs – and the landscapes, history and archaeology of where they were found. I am interested in how to raise the profile of women in prehistory, and the representation of wetlands and bogs.
