Hello!
Various councils and charity organisations such as WEA have benefited from my Creative Writing course fees over the years but it is only now that I am able to devote more time to writing and less to various means of keeping body and soul together. I studied for an MA in Creative Writing at Plymouth University which helped me to find my voice, and feet as a writer and feel more like one, although despite impressive grades I still suffer with imposter syndrome. However, I hope to finish my book, started for dissertation, and have numerous other little projects on ‘post its’ stuck to my thinking wall. The biggest asset I have as a mature writer is life experience. It is a vast pool of little gems and characters which is handy for this mostly CNF writer, but also helpful in character development for fiction. I do tend to write a lot about my experiences as a goatkeeper.
