Robert Coombs

I’m 31 years old, sadly unemployed although I enjoy doing volunteer work and I’ve been writing off and on for a few years now. I’ve been reading fantasy novels from an early age and love the idea of creating my own world with it’s own rules and creatures. A couple of my books have been posted to a self-publishing website and I’m currently working on a third to join them. At the moment I am working on a project centring on that classic staple of fantasy writing, dragons. It’s been a wonderful experience to get involved with these characters, developing their background and personalities and how they would react to any given situation, especially as my writing style is rather made up as I go along. Work on my books has not gone as swiftly as I’d hoped, but for me the writing experience is even better than reading, which is not something I thought I would ever say.
