Patrick Gale is the author of sixteen novels, including Notes From an Exhibition, Rough Music, A Perfectly Good Man, A Place Called Winter and Take Nothing With You. He has published two collections of short stories and his screenplays include Man in an Orange Shirt. He lives on a farm at Land’s End, plays the cello and is an obsessive gardener. He’s a director of the arts charity Endelienta, the artistic director of the North Cornwall Book Festival and a patron of Literature Works, Penzance Lit Fest and the Charles Causley Trust.
