Colin Johnson

After suppressing and sublimating the urge to write for most of my working life, I am now free to let my imagination loose. Learning the tools of the trade has taken me to local writing groups, societies and the Open University.
Online collaboration with other writers helps my development.
Two achievements so far – winning the monthly Flash competition at Hampshire Writers’ Society on the first attempt, and selection of a short story for the Earlyworks 2019 anthology – enable me to tell people ‘I used to go to work, but now I am a writer.’
