I write mainly for a middle grade audience.
In 2013 I won Walker Books/Mumsnet Book of Bedtime Stories competition and my story, The Night Thief and the The Moon, was published by Walker Books. The book was named in the top 10 children’s books of 2013 by the Independent.
After winning the Grindstone Flash 1000 Competition in 2018, I am due join Grindstone as judge for the 2019 competitions.
I have recently produced a middle grade graphic novella in collaboration with illustrator, Jon Stubbingon, and I am currently working on two middle grade novels.
I am a member of SCBWI.
I have recently completed the Publishing Training Centre’s Basic Proofreading course, I am a qualified journalist and professional copywriter.
