I am a retired copy writer and pr specialist. Moved to Devon from London three and a half years ago. Have just finished a part time MA Creative Writing at Exeter University.
I have a novel in development – some of the chapters were submitted for my MA dissertation. I also have ideas for a second novel, short story collection and monologues set in a north London Turkish cafe.
My novel in development is set in 1941 in Tiger Bay, Cardiff. Currently it sits on the boundary between historical novel and psychological thriller. I am about a third of the way there towards 70,000 words.
I belong to a writing group formed from Exeter MA students. We meet once a month, nine times a year, to share writing.
However I am looking to be part of a local group in East Devon or the East Devon/Dorset border.
