A highly experienced workshop facilitator and creative-critical practitioner, Dr Kevan Manwaring is the Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Arts University Bournemouth. He is the author of The Long Woman, and Lost Islands, and editor of Ballad Tales, and Heavy Weather: tempestuous tales of stranger climes (The British Library). His audio dramas include ‘Black Box’ and ‘Sunkenkirk’. His eco-SF novel, ‘Black Box’ won Literature Works’ ‘One Giant Write’ competition. His latest novel was longlisted for the Bath Novel Award 2021. He blogs and tweets as the Bardic Academic.
