James N. McCartney

I have spent most of my life writing, mainly observations on life. Had a few poems published as a teenager. Recently I have been working on a number of short stories, anthologies and a number of novels, in various stages of completion and editing. I flit between genres that interest me – science fiction is probably the most prevalent. Although my writing might be predominantly humorous I have also written some dark and twisted tales. I am currently a member of ‘WordWorks Exeter.’ This is a very supportive group of local writers.
