I am an accidental author and guest speaker. The series of books came from a conversation with my sister, who had badgers digging up her back garden and asked me if I knew how to discourage them from digging. I did some research on badgers and became hooked!
Now I have five books published with more to follow (currently writing book eight). The books are about a badger called Itchybald Scratchet and his adventures protecting his woodland home from being built on by Upples (Badger word for people).
I am passionate in encouraging children to read, learn about wildlife and our environment. I am on guest speaker lists for Devon & Somerset WI and do talks for schools and have had live radio interviews talking about my work.
