Damhnait (pronounced Downith) Monaghan is Canadian but has lived in the UK since 2000. Her novel ‘New Girl in Little Cove’ is forthcoming with HarperCollins Canada on 2nd March 2021 and Graydon House Books (USA) on 1st May 2021. Her novella in flash, ‘The Neverlands’ was named Best Novella in the Saboteur Awards 2020. Her flash fiction and creative nonfiction are widely published and anthologised. Damhnait has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, Best Small Fictions and Best MicroFictions. She was an editor with FlashBack Fiction for three years and has judged various writing competitions. She is currently mentoring an aspiring novelist.
