I’m 50 years old, married with two teenage children living at home, and graduated from the Open University in 2012 with a BA in Creative Writing. I was previously a charity accountant but I am now retired due to a combination of physical disability and mental health issues. I am currently studying again with Open University for my MA.
I enjoy following MLB baseball, reading, DIY, watching movies and crime shows with the missus and Japanese anime with my teenage daughter, and am an expert at computer-based procrastination. I have written a small number of short stories, plays and poetry, and finally completed my first novel, The Devil of Hansen’s Mill, a crime/horror/thriller set in New York state – under my pen name of Tomas Stendahl – in 2016.
