I am a multi-disciplinary artist and writer working across the South West. Initially a performance poet, since 2016 I have written and produced spoken word shows, community theatre, film and radio pieces – and had poems and short stories published internationally by Perennial Press, The Global Youth Review and Bloomsbury. I have created work (on stage, page, screen and radio) for BBC Arts, Half Moon Theatre, Apples & Snakes and Exeter Phoenix as well as delivering creative writing and performance workshops in theatres, community spaces and schools across the UK. My writing often reflects marginalised experiences and unheard voices, including themes of sexuality, mental health and class. I use my training as a youth and community worker to engage with these themes with sensitivity, humour and a passion for the beauty to be found in everyday life.
