I have written two collections of short stories: ‘Ann, Aida, May’ on folk song and singing, and ‘Pit Murk’ on darkness. ‘Pit Murk’ was published in 2021 by independent publishers Conway and Young Small Press. Previous to writing fiction I wrote for theatre and performance: ‘Echo Beach’, ‘With Force and Noise’ and ‘Draw to Look’. These works were funded by Arts Council England and toured nationally in the UK. I write about creativity, the body, place and things I feel are at risk of being lost. I am an experimental writer and continue to develop my prose and poetic styles.
