Emma is a writer and theatre director with over twenty years’ experience creating live performance. She works across the sector from puppetry to outdoor arts, and specialises in scripts that respond to physical locations and historical narratives. Her work has been developed/commissioned by The Dorset Wildlife Trust, Dorset AONB, Royal Welsh College of Music, National Trust Wales and National Theatre of Wales.
Current projects include Bristol Poetic City writer in residence at Red Lodge museum, Woman in Lockdown seed commission from Popelie Theatre company for The Kings, and Wassail co-commission Alternative endings.
