About the role

Penguin are looking for a Customer Operations Coordinator to join their Ebooks team. This role is all about getting their ebooks and audio titles to their aggregator and retailers on time and ensuring that the maximum number of titles are on sale.

This is a business critical role, and you’ll need to be able to manage your own work load and have confidence in your relationship building skills. You’ll be detail-oriented, and knowledge of metadata or feeds and how this impacts ebook distribution and retailer availability would be advantageous.

You’ll be managing any new retailors who need to be set up on Penguin’s system and troubleshooting technical or metadata related issues, so they’re after someone with great problem solving skills who can put the customer first. You’ll also run regular reports for their key customers and continuously work on improving their relationship with them.

Working closely with the rest of the Publishing Operations teams, you will be the first port of call for Sales. This’ll involve checking core metadata and running schedules based on publication date as well as identifying any discrepancies and errors online for our audio and ebooks.
