Birte Hosken was born and grew up in Germany, She met her husband Des during a twinning exchange visit in 1989 and moved to Penzance. Writing has always been her passion but it was not until the family moved to Carbis Bay, St Ives, and her children left home to go to university that Birte found time to concentrate on writing a book. “Petroc’s Church”, a holiday romance with a difference, is her first novel. The book entered the UK market in the summer of 2016.
