TwitterI go by nudi. I’m a queer unbinary writer & underwater photographer and poet.
As an emerging poet, my work explores trauma, gender, family (queer/biological), religion & Dumnonian (Devon pre-Roman colonisation) heritage & folklore. I focus on children—how they carry trauma quietly & loudly, seeking to protect adults. Ocean & eco themes run through my work, with particular interest in the parallels between interpersonal/intergenerational trauma & environmental devastation at the hands of a traumatised populous.
In Lucille Clifton’s words: ‘I come to comfort the afflicted & afflict the comfortable.’
