Announcing the quay words anthology celebrating new and established voices alongside the trading places young writers’ competition winner
It was a thrilling day at Quay Words when we took delivery of the first ever new writing anthology, Quay Voices #1, featuring established writers alongside new voices and the winning entries in the Trading Places young writers’ flash fiction competition.
Sir Michael Morpurgo joined us on Exeter Quayside to present the young winners with their copy and to hear them read. They are all now published authors! As if that were not enough, Paddleboat Theatre entertained and delighted young and old with their performance of Rustle, the latest family friendly show from this talented company of Exeter-based performers.
Quay Voices #1 is published by Impress Books and is available to purchase here or on order from your local bookstore. All profits go back into the Quay Words programme, which is a not-for-profit, inclusive and diverse programme of literature for all.
