An Audience with A.F. Steadman
Event WebsiteThe St Austell Festival of Children’s Literature team are delighted to announce that A.F. Steadman, author of the Sunday Times and New York Times bestselling Skandar series will be visiting St Austell, talking to readers and signing copies of her fourth book in the series; Skandar and the Skeleton Curse.
In this special event, An Audience with A.F Steadman, held on 27th October 2024 readers will hear all about this exciting new book and have the chance to ask A.F. Steadman questions about the Skandar series and what it’s like being a published author.
Doors will open at 3pm where there will be face-painting, elemental treats and drinks, plus Skandar-themed activities and games. The audience is invited to wear elemental green to celebrate this book and join in the fun.
This fun-filled family event aims to reignite the joy of reading for pleasure in children and raise funds to help the St Austell Children’s Book Festival return for the third time in 2025.
An Audience with A.F Steadman takes place at St John’s Methodist Church, Bodmin Road, St Austell. Sunday 27th October 2024.
Doors open at 3pm and A.F. Steadman will be on at 5pm.
Tickets are £5.00 and can be ordered from Reading Rocks.
A donation to the festival is optional but gratefully received.
