In her new book, ‘A Year to Change Your Mind’, consultant clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Maddox explains how psychological processes thread through our lives. She pinpoints issues common to each month, and shares evidence-based ideas from the therapy room which help us to reflect on our own experiences, both joyful and painful, and learn to live a more thoughtful, positive life. Life can be tricky and it’s good to have some tools to help.

After January’s ‘New Year! New You! pressure, February can feel like a tricky month to get going in. The dark and cold can make us feel less likely to want to get up and out. Ideas from psychological therapy can help in this month, and others. Join us in the bookshop for this special event with Dr Lucy Maddox, as we consider ideas from psychological therapy which can be useful.
