Ceri Baker is a performance poet whose fierce recovery from life changing surgery has catapulted her into a new realm of what she terms being, a ‘Pro-creative thriver’. Mixing Spokenword poetry, sound, visual media, and constantly growing her craft she explores themes of woman, change, death, grief, mother, parity in healthcare, love, sex, cycles and creativity.

What people say about Ceri:

‘Ceri Baker is a bold and beautiful poet.’
Salena Godden

‘Ceri’s work is an artistic exploration of pain, perseverance, and humour. Making her voice important and necessary.’
Kat Francois

‘There is a ‘Great Yes’ inside Ceri Baker, her writing tackles the edgier side of adulting, without being weighed down by it.’
Liv Torc

‘Ceri Baker is fucking wonderful! Reading her words or watching her perform is a masterclass in how spoken-word poetry should be done. She allows herself to plunge into that simmering anger, those difficult questions, that quest for understanding, and somehow comes up smiling, palms open, eyes burning, ready to give. ‘
Chris White
