Have you ever wondered how short stories, poetry and children’s books go from being ideas, scribbled down in the margins of a journal, to fully fledged books on the shelves of Waterstones?

Join us at this online Writers’ Night where we’ll be discussing first drafts, literary agents and the writing process with award-winning poet and bestselling author, Jen Campbell. Jen is the author of ten books for both adults and children, spanning non-fiction, poetry, short stories and children’s books, and also runs a successful YouTube channel. She’ll be sharing her writing journey, experiences of getting her work published, and tips for growing an online presence as a writer.

Whether you are just starting to think about one day sharing your writing, or you are currently putting the finishing touches to your short story collection, this Writers’ Night will give you the opportunity to ask an author everything you want to know about getting your work published.

There will also be a showcase of local writers (do get in touch if you’d like to share your work!).

Weston Writers’ Nights create supportive spaces for budding writers of all ages and abilities to come together and learn more about the exciting, sometimes bewildering world of publishing, fiction and writing. We’re passionate about good stories, connecting people and most importantly, empowering writers.
