Event Website

It’s time to let the air in and throw some light on your writing at an evening of prose readings.

Bring your story or novel extracts to share, or surprise us with a piece of flash fiction. Be part of this event as writers reading your work, or as a supportive audience listening to contemporary fiction and unbridled creativity.

Come ready to read. Five-minute slots for writers. The venue is at Bristol Folk House in the lovely cafe bar

The Open Mic will be followed by socialising. See familiar faces from past Novel Nights events. Make new writer friends. If you want to be part of the event please practice reading your piece aloud first and be prepared to use a microphone.

Tickets £6 ( Admission charge to cover venue hire and overheads)

We’ll have an hour of readings and an hour or more for socialising at the bar. Wine, beer, tea and coffee available from the Folk House Cafe Bar. This event is hosted by David Lloyd from Exeter Novel Nights and Grace Palmer.
