Join Clare on a story-walk exploring Irish life in Bristol. Listen to snippets of history and slices of fiction as you see the city with fresh new eyes. Clare will create stories inspired by the streets and buildings at the heart of Bristol and bring to life the forgotten experiences of the Irish people who once lived there.
Clare leads regular story-walks in Clifton. Audience members said of her Clifton walks:

The walk will last approx 1½ hours. Suitable for 12 years and over.
The walk begins (and ends) outside the entrance to St Nicholas’ Market on Corn Street, Bristol.
Please be aware that the walk includes a short flight of steep steps.
This is Bristol, it might rain. If the event has to be cancelled due to very bad weather, tickets will be refunded (excluding the Eventbrite fee) or can be transferred to another walk day.

This story-walk is part of the West of England Culture Fest, a programme of events celebrating the Irish diaspora, with dancing, music and sports, culimating in the St Patrick’s Day parade through the centre of Bristol.
