The Clarks Factory Girls at War book launch
Event WebsiteThe launch of the first book in a new series about the workers at the Clarks Shoe Factory in Street, Somerset during the First World War. Author May Ellis (also known as Alison Knight) will talk about her inspiration and research and will be signing books. The event takes place at the Street Quaker Meeting House, one of the settings in the book.
