When we think of Nature, we think of the countryside, wilderness. But Bristol exists within nature too and all cities are ‘more than human’.

Poetry is a great way to connect to the urban wildlife around us – and not just the pretty stuff. How do we find affection for the gulls? Can we vibe with the lichen? Respect the rats, even? There’s only one way to find out…

In this experience, across a tour of selected sites, you’ll explore what’s already wild about Bristol, through a selection of performed poems. Some of these will spark your own writing, in gentle and playful activities which writers of all experience levels can enjoy. Your host Caleb, the third Bristol City Poet, will be on-hand for writing tips or questions.
