Do you want support with sticking to a regular writing practice? A community to (quietly) cheer you on to while you work on your book / poetry / journalling? A collective of creatives to belong to?

If, like us, you work best with deadlines, clear working routines and a support crew, then WriteClub’s Bootcamps are for you.

What is a Writing Bootcamp?

Basically it’s a six-week series of online writing sprints delivered via the WriteClub Zoom Room.

You are invited to show up, keep your camera on, turn your microphone off, state your goal in the chat and then crack on with your writing.

Sessions take place each week on:

Mondays 7-8pm

Wednesdays 7-8pm

Thursdays 10-11am

Sundays 10-11am

You can join as many as you like during the Bootcamp (though, of course, the more you can make, the more words you’re likely to write!)

Do I need a project that I’m working on?

Previous Bootcamp participants have worked on novels, memoirs and poetry collections. Others have used the time to freewrite, building up a regular writing habit. Some have used it as their journalling time. It’s up to you whether you work on a project or just turn up and see where the page takes you!

Basic Bootcamp – Access to all the sprints = £35 (+ Eventbrite fees)
