National Poetry Competition 2023
The 2023 National Poetry Competition, The Poetry Society’s major prize for new writing, is now open to entries from all writers worldwide aged 18 or over.
The National Poetry Competition is one of the world’s biggest prizes for a single poem, with a first prize of £5,000, second prize of £2,000, third prize of £1,000 and seven commendations of £200. This year’s judges are Clare Pollard, Will Harris and Jane Draycott.
The deadline for entries is midnight on 31 October 2023.
