Goonhilly Village Green 2 is an artist-led investigation of a unique landscape, Goonhilly Downs on Cornwall’s Lizard peninsular. During 2018-19 they will be running a programme of free public events, culminating in a major one day celebration of all things Goonhilly, followed by a period of evaluation and wider dissemination.

They want to work with a writer with interests in land management/ownership/use who can contextualise their approach as artists to engaging wider publics in understanding the complex histories connected to this unique area. They are keen to engage readers in academia, the contemporary arts and national bodies such as Natural England through an in-depth piece for specialist publication, supplemented by a short article for a more generalist readership with interests in Cornwall, land use, history, creative actions.
