Word Live In Libraries Autumn dates

31st October 2023

The Autumn leg of Word Live In Libraries is underway. Organised in partnership with South Western Regional Library Services CIO (SWRLS) and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, these pay-what-you-can events continue to reach a variety of libraries across the South West, connecting diverse writers with local communities via workshops and ‘In Conversation’ events (which are also streamed online).

Forthcoming events on this unique tour include Tolu Agbelusi at Exeter Library and Noreen Masud at UWE Library in Bristol, plus online events with Roopa Farooki and with Kim Sherwood live from Bath Spa University.

We’re pleased to present this new trailer, to give you an idea of how these events work and how inspiring and entertaining they have been for audiences all over the region. There will be a longer film celebrating the project to follow.

Thank you to all of the library authorities, library staff, booksellers, and of course the authors who have made these possible. Here are some comments from those who’ve attended Word Live in Libraries events so far.
