Stephen Boyce is a poet living in North Dorset. He has been widely published and won a number of awards including the Kent & Sussex Poetry Competition and the Leicester Poetry Competition. He is the author of three poetry collections: The Blue Tree (Indigo Dreams 2019); The Sisyphus Dog (Worple 2014), and Desire Lines (Arrowhead 2010), as well as the pamphlets In the Northland (TegArt 2011) and Something Persists (TegArt 2014). He has even produced a needlecase of poems. He has a particular interest in collaborative projects, especially with visual artists, and has experience of working in heritage settings. His poetry has been described as “intelligent, sophisticated and formally-assured…”, “exquisitely crafted” and “a seamless weave of thought, perception and emotion”.
Stephen is a founding trustee and current Chair of Winchester Poetry Festival.
