I am an older (retired) writer living by the sea side on the Isle of Wight.

It was through my nursing career that I came across, and became interested in gender fluidity, which sparked the idea which became Myx.

I have always felt strongly about the unfairness towards people of difference – an attitude that is reflected by Brighid (the Priestess and narrator) in the story.
