I’m a poet and fiction writer with my debut novel due to be published May 2023 by Hoopoe, an imprint of the American University of Cairo. It’s called A Stranger in Baghdad and is about an Anglo-Iraqi family in mid twentieth century Iraq. I also write and publish poetry. When not writing, I garden and sing and take the dog for walks, and see as much as possible of family and friends.
