I have been a writer for many years – but mostly writing factually: from magazine articles about childbirth, to government ministers speeches about support for the British film industry. I have always loved books (and particularly physical books) and have been a voracious reader for many years. I took the opportunity of a change in employment to study an MA in Creative Writing at the University of Plymouth. I have really enjoyed improving my poetry and developing a real love of writing creative non-fiction.
